Fourth Sunday of Advent

Morsheda Khatun lives in one of Bangladesh’s most disaster-prone regions, where 70% of families live in extreme poverty because floods are destroying their crops. Because her parents couldn’t afford to keep her in school, she was unable to continue her education and was married off at a young age. However, thanks to the support of Christian Aid’s local partner and Morsheda’s inspiring willpower, she has been able to establish her own clothing business. And, with this extra income, Morsheda has been able to continue her education and support her family.
