Third Sunday of Advent

Anjum Begum is happiest when working with the other women from her community in their vegetable garden. The produce they grow has brought a significant change to their lives both in the provision of income and through the nutrition they provide to their families. Before starting her vegetable garden, Anjum’s family suffered in poverty, but now they have hope for the future. This includes Anjum being taught how to use a mobile phone to sell her vegetables online through training provided by Christian Aid’s partner in her community.
